ADAM Roynon is the final piece in Poole's 2023 team jigsaw.
The Cumbrian had spells with Redcar and Scunthorpe in the Championship last season but now moves to Wimborne Road to take up a reserve position as partner to Kyle Newman. Pirates promoter Dan Ford said: "Adam is a perfect fit for us. He is a 100 per cent trier and has an average that does not reflect his true ability. "With him and Kyle at reserve, we will have a very strong combination, possibly the most experienced pairing in the league. "He might be starting on a 3.47 average, but I would expect him to substantially improve on the figure once he settles in here at Poole."
