THE Polish Ekstraliga season is underway at last – but without Niels-Kristian Iversen. The Danish star was sidelined for opening weekend following a crash in practice with Gorzow team-mate Bartosz Zmarzlik: "It was just a racing incident and sometimes it happens in speedway. There was no question of anyone doing anything intentionally. There are no hard feelings. It's part of the sport and you can't start to point fingers," he says. Full coverage of the first round of matches in this week’s issue, plus interviews with Swindon boss Alun Rossiter, about his early days in speedway, and Robins owner Terry Russell, who has had a year from hell.
