"AT the moment, there are no mass gatherings anyway. You cannot have a speedway meeting in Britain until that is lifted. Forget social distancing – speedway is classed as a mass gathering. But try to tell me the difference between what was happening on Bournemouth beach last week and a speedway meeting? It's utter madness.2 Matt Ford talks exclusively to Speedway Star this week about the chances of a British league season getting underway in 2020, handing over control of the Pirates to son Danny – and his new chateau in the south of France. Plus, part three of our Alun Rossiter interview, the story behind Chris Harris' bike re-design and a look ahead to the start of the European Championship.
