THE Grand Prix calendar for next year has been announced by the FIM and organisers BSI "“ and it features a new addition to the circuit with Swedish track Hallstavik set to makes its debut as a GP host.
The home of Swedish Elite Leaguers Rospiggarna, who currently have World Champion Jason Doyle (pictured) on their books, Hallstavik will stage the Swedish GP in July. The 11-round series will start in May in Warsaw and is scheduled to conclude in Australia in October, although the final round in Melbourne remains listed as "˜to be confirmed' at this stage. BSI Speedway managing director Torben Olsen commented: "Having witnessed one of the all-time great SGP series this year, we're already excited to see the sport's top stars in action again in 2018. "It's brilliant to welcome Hallstavik on to the calendar for the first time and we're delighted to have agreed a new deal with Horsens to keep the Danish SGP at the CASA Arena. "We look forward to another great season and to bringing fantastic racing to all our SGP towns and cities in 2018."
