BELLE VUE have moved to sign Workington’s Tate Zischke (pictured) who will make his Aces debut in Monday night’s Premiership clash with Ipswich.
The Australian prospect will replace reserve Connor Mountain, who has been released. Club CEO Mark Lemon said: “With Sheffield and Ipswich seemingly taking a strong hold on the Premiership in recent weeks, I felt we needed to do something to bolster our team to compete with them. “I’m gutted to release Connor. He has been a pleasure to work with and we’re very grateful to him for his efforts. He has put in some solid performances at times for the Aces. “Concerning Tate, we’ve had our eye on him for a while. He made his British debut with Workington this year and he’s been a solid performer, racking up maximums in the Championship which is no mean feat for his limited experience.”
