JACK Smith has signed for Glasgow to take the Tigers’ Rising Star position after Connor Bailey revealed his decision to stand down from the side.
Bailey has elected to miss the 2021 British season and remain in Australia because of the uncertainties caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Former Tiger Smith replaces him, with team manager Cami Brown commenting: “Jack has bags of talent, superb equipment as well as a great team around him. “His father was a multiple British Champion and he will be there with Jack, so it'll be great to have someone of his experience in the pits.” Smith’s arrival will be the only alteration from Glasgow’s proposed 2020 line-up, with Craig Cook, Ricky Wells, Broc Nicol, Ulrich Ostergaard, Sam Jensen and Justin Sedgmen all retained.
